Packaging Parade: Collections of Colonies of Bees GIVING
It’s ok to stare.
With Collections of Colonies of Bees’ new album, we walked into the night. We carried it across seasons. Lines turned into colors turned into shapes. Our instinctive formalism, driving pixels across our catalog, collided with the variable of being blood-filled humans. We met a sculptor (he was serving us our coffee). We met a color (100% magenta). We met a word (GIVING). Set to the music of the album (Lawn, Vorm, Lawns, Vorms), we all mingled at the edge of the world.

The cover art features the low fire porcelain sculpture art of Portland, Oregon-based artist Cameron D. Stewart. Design by Hometapes. About the LP: Heavyweight virgin vinyl in black and magenta swirl. The jacket is printed in CMYK — with the bonus of a glowing interior flood of color. Full color, forced-perspective insert.
